The Beauty of Giving

We give.

Not for what we received, nor perhaps ever did.

The act of giving wears many different faces, often rising from a variety of obscure places,

You give a smile, I take the joy!

Together we create a stream of cascading positives,

that when unhindered will flow into a river.

It is a small act - often with intent and many times without-

Why we come together every year to remind ourselves of the infinite value of giving,

To give thanks that we can and will - over and over again.

And so we create the change that influences the world we want to live in,

It starts between just two.
